The poem we’re going to talk about today is in that collection. Honestly, the poem itself is…kinda cursed! It’s about baseball and a crappy friend who turned out to be a shitty, abusive person, not truly a friend at all. But I clearly had some instinctive understanding of that when I wrote the poem, as you’ll see. The whole thing makes me think of this meme:
