Hiiiiiiiiiiiii! It’s me. Back in the saddle with a hot NEW column for my beauty- and lifestyle-writing fans out there. Full disclosure that I stole this idea. This is 100% plagiarism. This is an established idea, and my approach is not original.

But it’s a GOOD idea, which is why I’m stealing it. That’s my rule: I only steal good ideas, or bad ideas I could execute well. Forever ago, when Into the Gloss was still readable1, they ran a monthly “Our Favorite Products” column, and a less-regular “Things We Finish” column, both of which had some influence over my purchasing habits. More recently, I have enjoyed the semi-regular “empties” posts from epidemiologist and perfume genius Victoria Jent, aka EauMG on Instagram. She posts her empties AND says whether she liked them or not, which is more than can be said for much of the beauty commerce writing in blogs/magazines today. Victoria, if you’re reading this: I want so badly to be your friend!!!!!!!! I also wear lots of animal print!!!!!

SO, here I am, a conspicuous consumer, ready to copy these brilliant fellow beauty buyers with my own empties list. I’m hoping this will help me be consistent about using up all my beauty/body products before buying new ones, too.

Here is a list of products I finished using in March, my brief reviews of them, and whether I would–will?!–buy them again.
